Privacy Policy

Puente ("we", "us") builds a bilingual AI assistant for the Latino community. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Your email address when you create an account.
• Preferences such as your chosen assistant (Pedro or Paula) and language style.
• Chat conversations you have with the assistant.
• Sessions you choose to save inside the app.
• Optional city and state, only if you provide them.

How we use your information

We use your information only to provide, maintain, and improve the Puente service. We do not sell your information to anyone. We do not use your conversations to advertise to you.

AI processing

Messages you send are processed by the Anthropic Claude API to generate responses. Anthropic acts as our processor under their own privacy commitments. Learn more at anthropic.com.

Data storage

Your account and conversations are stored with Supabase. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

Location data

If you choose to share your city and state, we use it only to surface local recommendations inside the app. Your location is not shared with third parties.

Your rights

You can, at any time:

• Access the information we hold about you.
• Correct information that is inaccurate.
• Delete your account and associated data.
• Withdraw consent to processing.

Children's privacy

Puente is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above and, when appropriate, notify you inside the app.
